Mount Kilimanjaro 5,895m is a dormant volcano in Tanzania and the highest mountain in Africa. We take the long route. It is best for acclimatisation. We begin our walk to the top soon after midnight to be there for the sunrise. It gives us enough time to enjoy the stunning view before heading down to our new camp, which is still a long way down! We try and take the longest route to get to the top to have time to acclimatise.
